Is it really free to list? What's the catch?
No catch. Basic supplier listings are free permanently. We make money from contractor subscriptions — Pro and Team plans. Suppliers getting more visibility is what makes contractors want to pay us.
What if my price sheet format is a mess or non-standard?
Send it anyway. We've handled handwritten tables, weird multi-tab Excel files, scanned PDFs, even photographs of price boards. Our AI is built specifically to parse messy supplier sheets. If it can't auto-parse, our team does it manually within 24 hours.
Can I control which prices are shown or hide certain items?
Yes. Once your listing is live, you'll have a dashboard where you can mark specific SKUs as hidden, flag items as out of stock, or set a minimum order quantity before a price is shown.
What if a contractor calls in about a price shown on QuoteFarm?
You're never obligated to honor a price shown on QuoteFarm. All listings clearly state "prices subject to change" and direct contractors to call or visit to confirm before purchasing. QuoteFarm is a discovery tool, not a checkout system.
How do I update my prices when they change?
Three ways: (1) Email the new sheet to prices@quotefarm.io from your registered email address. (2) Log into your supplier dashboard and upload directly. (3) If you have an online catalog, we can set up automatic daily scraping so you never have to send a sheet manually.
